3 Days of ETC Console Training

CITT Alberta and our Presenting Partner Theatre Alberta are holding 3 days of ETC Console Training at the Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary on March 1, 2 & 4, 2020. Join us before and after the annual Backstage Access Production Expo. These courses will be taught by an ETC-certified professional trainer from Los Angeles.

Wednesday, March 4, 2020 – Discovering Augment3d and Advanced Effects

All classes will be strictly limited to 16 seats to ensure plenty of hands on time with the console. There will be a maximum 2-people, per console so register soon to save your seat. This year the class will be taught on Ion XE consoles. ETC console software is the same across the entire Eos Family range so this is applicable for any Ion/Gio/Eos desk you may have.
ETCP Electrician Renewal Credits will be provided if required.

Lunch and coffee will be supplied.

  • If you are a member of CITT/ICTS or Theatre Alberta the cost is $125 per day.
    • Be sure to check with your employer, if they are a member of CITT you can take advantage of preferred pricing by registering through them.
    • Theatre Alberta members should email alberta@citt.org to receive the discount code.
  • For all others the cost is $170 per day.
    • We encourage you to sign-up for CITT membership and then register at the reduced rate. Registering will also give you access to discounts on future training opportunities.

Your Trainer: Erin Giblin

Pronouns: She/her
Erin is a Field Project Coordinator for ETC out of the West office in Hollywood. Erin has previously worked as a stage manager and lighting designer in Los Angeles, New York and Portland, OR. She has worked on installations at the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Citifield, and the Tillikum Crossing bridge lighting. Erin’s favorite topics include networking, wireless control and management, and lighting for the stage.

CITT Alberta Section Refund & Cancellation Policy
If the event is cancelled by CITT Alberta we will provide a full refund to all participants.
Cancellation by the participant with more than 30 days notice will receive a full refund.
Cancellation by the participant with 15 to 30 days notice will receive a credit note applicable to future section events or a 50% refund.
Cancellation by the participant with less than 15 days notice will be unable to receive a refund.
