CITT Alberta is holding 2 days of ETC Console Training at the Timms Centre for the Arts in Edmonton on March 3 & 4, 2019. Join us in the lead up to the annual Backstage Access Production Expo. These courses will be taught by an ETC-certified professional trainer from Los Angeles.
Sunday, March 3, 2019 – Level 3: Advanced Skills
Monday, March 4, 2019 – Expert Topics: Advanced Effects, Magic Sheets, and Colour Controls
The Level 3: Advanced Skills class is open to everyone, although both CITT and ETC strongly recommend those planning to attend should review the prior courses, Level 1: Essentials and Level 2: Enhanced Skills beforehand. Especially if you haven’t attended any ETC training previously or are new to the console.
The Expert Topics: Advanced Effects, Advanced Magic Sheets (including Snapshots and Macros), and Colour Controls (including Colour Paths) class is intended for experienced professionals looking to enhance their speed, skills, and knowledge. Sufficient prior knowledge of the console is required along with a core competence level. This will be an in-depth class going into lots of detail and if you aren’t already comfortable with the desk you will find yourself falling behind. You will need to register for both days or have previously taken Level 2 training in order to attend this course.
If you have previously attended a Level 2 training course (through CITT or elsewhere) or feel you have sufficient time, experience, and knowledge of the consoles then please email alberta@citt.org with your credentials or stating your past training to receive a password to register for Day 2 only.
All participants wishing to take the Expert Topic class must email alberta@citt.org prior to beginning registration.
All classes will be strictly limited to 16 seats to ensure plenty of hands on time with the console. There will be a maximum 2-people, per console so register soon to save your seat. This year the class will feature 8 Ion XE consoles. ETC console software is the same across the entire Eos Family range so this is applicable for any Ion/Gio/Eos desk you may have.
ETCP Electrician Renewal Credits will be provided if required.
Lunch and coffee will be supplied.
- If you are a member of CITT/ICTS the cost is $140 per day.
- Be sure to check with your employer, if they are a member of CITT you can take advantage of preferred pricing by registering through them.
- For all others the cost is $185 per day.
- We encourage you to sign-up for CITT membership and then register at the reduced rate. Registering will also give you access to discounts on future training opportunities.
